The USU Alumni Association was founded in 1978 to connect with alumni and to support students, faculty, and the mission of the Uniformed Services University.
An all-vounteer Board of Trustees and committee members direct fundraising, the Association bookstore, Founder’s Day events, and the USU Alumni Awards program

50th Anniversary Capital Campaign sets sights on $5,000,000 goal - raises over $250,000 before the night ends!
Your Alumni Association launched the 50th Anniversary Capital Campaign at the USU 50th Gala with the goal to raise five million dollars in one year for the Association Endowment. Investment proceeds from the Endowment will be used to fund student and faculty education, research, startup, and travel programs which cannot be fully funded with traditional monies.
50th Anniversary Gala
The Alumni Association hosted the 50th Anniversary Gala at the Bethesda Marriott aided by the generous support of the Henry M. Jackson Foundation and Friends of USU. The event was a rousing success, with opportunities to catch up with students, faculty, and friends, the USUAA Alumni Awards presentations, and the launch of the 50th Anniversary Capital Campaign.
Outstanding Alumni awards
A terrific slate of nominations was received for the Outstanding Alumni Awards, making it difficlut for the Awards Committee to choose the winners. In the end, all four recipients of this year’s awards were present to accept this well-deserved recognition of their accomplishments.
If we reach our capital campaign goal we can contribute $250,000 each year to USU to help with “margin of excellence” programs to enhance the student and faculty experience.
